Players of Star Wars: The Old Republic are complaining that they cannot cancel their subscriptions.
The unsubscribe option should come up when you click the Subscription button in the sidebar of your accounts page. However, the unsubscribe link only brings up a screen asking to set up a subscription plan, even though you’re already subscribed.
Only a part of the Star Wars community is facing this problem/bug. To top it all off some even tried to cancel their subscription through Bioware customer support. However, that was down as well.
EA has acknowledged this problem:
We are aware there is an issue with our website and apologize for any inconvenience. We have identified the issue and can confirm it will be resolved shortly.
EA earlier also mentioned that it’s probably a browser issue and that it’ll be fixed soon. Meanwhile some unhappy players will have to go ahead and pay to play another month.
