  • What better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of GTA III than to have the game release for the mobile. With Rockstar’s announcement of their plans for both the iOS and Android platform for GTA III, you can now go on a frenzy while riding an elevator or sitting in an airplane. Rockstar also plans to have the game land on the iPad 2 and the newly launched iPhone 4S. The controls will be off course revamped for the mobile decides.   • The iconic co-founder of Apple was struggling with health issues for some time now. This was a major reason for him to step down as CEO of Apple back in August because of his constant fighting with pancreatic cancer. Steve Jobs died today at the age of 56, leaving behind a trail of legacy that will not be forgotten for time to come. In an industry where technology was already available but had no appeal, Steve revolutionized the market with products like the iPod, iPad, iPhone and the iTunes music store. He focused on making products that were easy and intuitive for the average consumer to use. His death also comes right after the announcement by Apple of the new iPhone upgrade, iPhone 4S.

Pocket Gamer is claiming to have accurate insider information that Apple is going to reveal the latest iPhone in a press conference planned for October 5th. It’s widely believed that Apple will definitely bring out a new iPhone this fall but a confirmed launch date hasn’t been reported. A new iPhone launch means new prospects for the video game industry. We’ll have to wait this out to see if the rumor is true or not.
