Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Has Been Announced
Posted on August 12, 2011 | No CommentsValve’s new Counter-Strike game has been talked about recently. The game is called Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and has been confirmed by Valve for a 2012 release. The game will succeed Counter Strike: Source and will be released standalone. The game will also be released across XBL and PSN. No screenshots of the game have been released yet. Some speculate that Valve will just update the visuals on the source engine; adding a few gameplay and balance tweaks here and there. Nothing has been confirmed yet apart from the games release. Though people who have played the game say it has a lot more to offer. Stories of weapon balancing changes, decoy grenades, a new heavy MG, Molotov and the almighty AK getting expensive have surfaced. Here... -
10 Things Borderlands 2 Needs To Have
Posted on August 12, 2011 | 6 CommentsBorderlands gained popularity in the FPS genre by implementing Diablo-ish RPG elements in a Futuristic Shooter. It’s main attraction being the varied Weapons and stylish Cel-shaded graphics; along with the quirky Claptrap. Borderlands was fun, both visually and gameplay-wise thus I’m listing the following features I want added/modified in the sequel. So here are 10 things which Borderlands 2 needs to have that the original didn’t. I don’t want Borderlands 2 to have Cel-Shaded graphics. No doubt there have been some truly beautiful cel shaded games in the past and in current generation such as my personal favorites Clover Studio’s Okami and Ubisoft’s Naruto : Rise of the Ninja, but lets face it that Borderlands was no basket of fruits. World Of Tanks Goes Past 5 Million Registered Players

This news comes just before the MMO’s first birthday and the developers couldn’t be more pleased. CEO Victor Kislyi commented: We didn’t expect World of Tanks would become this popular. The game’s success has given us [the] confidence we needed to continue our expansion into the world of online wargames. Really guys, you should go and give World Of Tanks a try. You won’t be disappointed. -
Tropico 4 Demo Available For Download

The trailer has lots of action packed into it and features a lot of ways for you to bring pain to the enemy. Movable turrets, dropping in airstrikes and paratroopers, enemy attack dogs with explosives attached to them, chemical warfare, and more. -

Borderlands 2 Confirmed For 2012 Release

From the official website of Borderlands 2: Borderlands 2 features all new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment. Borderlands 2 will be featured on the front cover of the next issue of Game Informer. In addition to that the game will get an official unveiling at the upcoming Gamescom 2011.
